WOW!! I have found my blog! And am abit embarressed!! But i would like to get back into posting my stitching and blogging! My grandsons are growing up--Tyson is 16 and Mason 15. And I have been blessed with 2 granddaughters-Veronica is 6 and her sister Amelia is 4!! Lucky me! I was thrilled about a month ago when i was into Veronicas' room. She was getting out a pair of socks and piled neatly in a corner all the cards I have stitched for her! That did my heart good! Projects comming up will be 2 Easter cards for my little sweethearts as well as a "50th" birthday card for my niece Susan.
I really hope some of the stitchers here will visit me and we can become friends!

And I'm back!!
And I have one little offering! I love this design and think this is the third time I've stitched it! It is a PM miniture from Pat&Gloria. And I will be using it for a card.I don't know how-but time is flying by at a ridiculous rate! I have now managed to take 3 of 5 tests for my Health Care Aide certificite. Been doing this for 23 years and I'm finally taking the course! Twenty of those years were as a nursing aide in a long term care facility. My grades were 85%,93% and 85%. Two more exams then the practicum-which doesn't worry me at all--not like the exams!! Then the big one-and that--worries me!
Went to Chapters today and bought The World of Cross Stitch and Cross Stitch Crazy! I love those magazines! Course they are a month behind, but that's ok. At least I can buy them! And those wonderful little kits! This time there was one of the new bear-Bentley! Love it!
Well,if anyone reads this-THANKS FOR STOPPING BY!!

Almost New Year!! 26 Hours to go!!

2010 is just around the corner! And to celebrate this event in stitching I am making 3 cards for my dear pen pals. All 3 love to stitch so I hope this card will make them smile! Nothing fancy--just straight to the point! I will post a picture again when they are finished.
And mentioning pictures--I have collected so many free charts just by going around and visiting other blogs! Thank you to all you dear stitchers who share charts which you've designed or putting a link so we can go to the site where the chart is.
Hope everyone has a wonderful evening tomorrow night and enjoys bringing in the New Year! I'll be having a house party, mostly family. People age from 4 and older-LOL!! But it is a nice time to get together!!

Hopefully in the new year,I will have lots of photos to add to my blog! This will mainly be cross stitch! I feel alone in the 'stitching world' so any comments or visits will be appreciated! And if I make afew friends-that will really be wonderful!
To all of you-a very Happy,Healthy and Stitchy New Year!!

HAPPY MONDAY Dec.14

It is so cold here! But the sun is shinning and had me fooled for a minute. Looking at the weather network we are bouncing at a cool -38 c. Definatel;y a cool day! We have had temperatures like this all of December. I think it is making up for the lovely November we had, making alot think maybe winter would just pass us by this year--no such luck!
But to cross stitching! Which I love to do. And what better day for it? I have been stitching up letters for my grandson Masons' kindergarten class. There are 17 students and they are all so cute. I watch Mason while my daughter works and am fortunate to be able to volunteer for craft days, field trips, etc. I am getting to know the students and decided to make them each a Christmas ornie. Now wishing I had started a month earlier-I'm stitching every spare minute! LOL! I will try to add afew photos of my work!
